SMG 2019 app for iPhone and iPad

Symposium Mines Guinea (SMG 2019), will take place from 24 - 26 April 2019, in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. The event is organized by the Ministry of Mines & Geology, Republic of Guinea, in collaboration with AME Trade Ltd, United Kingdom. The theme for SMG 2019 is: “The synergy between mining & infrastructure: the challenge for Guinea’s integrated and sustainable development”.

The SMG 2019 is a consultation platform opened to professionals in the sector with the aim of discussing issues specific to the mining sector in general and Guinean in particular. It is also an opportunity to build partnerships and increase business opportunities.

Guinea, the new hub of Africa’s mining industry was selected in July 2018 to be the headquarters of the African Centre for Mining Development. The decision will allow Guinea to play a key role in the continent’s mining policies and reforms. Private sector investment from 2016 – 2020 is expected to reach $7 billion USD. Investors can now have access to a modernized mining cadaster, a one-stop-shop for integrated mining projects and a shared-user agreement master plan for infrastructure to reduce the cost of mining projects.
